Get your remote control ready – you can now access some of our services through your TV.
If you have SKY or Virgin satellite television, you can access a new digital channel by using your interactive button.
By following the prompts you can:
• report a repair
• fin out how to claim on your insurance
• find out how to change factor
• contact us
• read the latest YourPlace news
In the near future you will also be able to pay your bills from the comfort of your couch.
Jennifer Russell, Managing Director, said: “We want to give our customers more ways to use our services. The Digital TV channel will be a great way to do things like report a repair or get useful information about our services. And you can do it all by using your remote control.”
You can also access the service through your mobile phone, a Wii and the ‘Looking Local’ iphone app.
The channel also gives you tips on how to cut your energy bills and handy links to public transport, health advice and job centre sites.
How do I find the YourPlace page on my TV?
If you are a SKY customer:
• Go to Channel 539 – The Community Channel
• Press ‘Red’
• Choose ‘Scotland’
• Glasgow Housing Association
• YourPlace
If you are a VIRGIN customer:
• Press ‘Home’
• Choose ‘Interactive’ (button 7)
• ‘News & Info’
• ‘Looking Local’ (button 6)
• Choose ‘Scotland’
• Glasgow Housing Association
• YourPlace (option 7)
If you don’t have a ‘Home’ button you can press the interactive button on your remote and follow the steps above.
